It Snowed in LA (Lower Alabama)

FINALLY!!! We got a "Snow Day." It's been years since it has really snowed in south Alabama, but this snow made up for that. It didn't stick around long, but it was beautiful while it lasted. Here are a few pictures from our "Snow Day" in Beatrice. Sunny came over for the weekend since Tom was in Kansas working and Troy University was closed because of the weather. It was great hanging out and playing with the fam. We really did miss Tom.

The Puppies had a blast in the snow also! They really didn't know what to think of it all, but got the hang of it quickly...well, most of them. Dallas, Tom's Dalmatian, tried to eat all of the snow.

A sweet friend in town took a picture of the bank where I work. The snow is amazing!!

OH!! I almost forgot. SNOW CREAM!

 

Here's how we made it:

1 gallon of snow

1 cups of sugar

1 tablespoon of vanilla (plus a little more)

2 cups of milk

mix together and serve immediately
